Walk n Roll Week- Walk, Bike or Scooter to School

The week of March 31st Alta Vista will be partnering with Safe Routes to School to encourage our kids to walk, bike, or scooter to school! The goal is to reduce traffic and congestion in front of the school. Live too far away to walk, bike, or scooter to school?? That's OK! Just park a little further away :) Every morning there will be volunteers at check-points around the school, and as long as students are walking/ biking, or scootering past one of the check-points, they will be eligible for daily prizes and to get a raffle ticket for their class. At the end of the week, the classroom with the highest percentage of tickets will win a CLASS PARTY sponsored by the Dad's Club!

We will need a lot of volunteers to make this a successful event, so please sign up here to help out! There will be zoom and in-person training sessions for everyone who registers!
